zoning enforcement

The Town Zoning Administrator reviews building permits; reviews variance applications to the Zoning Board of Appeals; and reviews planning board applications for compliance with the zoning & bulk requirements. The Zoning Administrator also issues sign permits, as well as demolition permits for historic structures. In addition, the ZA performs site inspections for site plan work compliance, and issues certificates of use indicating compliance with approved site plans. The Zoning Administrator is also responsible for enforcement of the Town's Zoning Law (Chapter 125 in the Town Code) and investigation of possible zoning violations.

Actions of the Zoning Administrator are appealable to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
